Community service

Engaging with music can improve mood, boost socialization, and reduce feelings of isolation. For individuals with dementia, music often triggers memories and improves cognitive abilities. Participating in musical activities enhances the mood, fosters a sense of joy, and reduces agitation, making it a valuable tool for supporting emotional health.

For these reasons, I have been performing at Memory Care units and nursing homes in my community from a very young age. I continue to seek out opportunities to give back.
